5-Amino-1MQ is a small synthetic quinolinium compound supplied for in vitro laboratory research.
About 5-Amino-1MQ
5-Amino-1MQ (5-amino-1-methylquinolinium) is a quinoline ring system with a methyl group on its ring nitrogen, which gives it a permanent positive charge, and an amino group at position 5.
Because the charge is built into the molecule, the salt that comes with it adds weight to the powder without changing what the mass spectrometer sees. A report should say which salt it tested.
