Pinealon is a synthetic tripeptide supplied as a lyophilized powder for in vitro laboratory research. Each lot is identified by its sequence.
About Pinealon
Pinealon is made of three amino acids: glutamic acid, aspartic acid and arginine (Glu-Asp-Arg, or EDR).
With two acidic amino acids and one strongly basic one, it carries both negative and positive charges in solution, which makes it very water friendly and a short model in studies of how charged peptides behave. Its small size also makes its mass easy to confirm on a lab report.

Purity is measured by high performance liquid chromatography (HPLC): the Pinealon peak as a share of everything the detector picks up at the test wavelength. Identity is confirmed by mass spectrometry.

- The compound named on the report is Pinealon, and its lot number matches the lot you received.
- Purity is 98% or higher, with no large second peak close to the main Pinealon peak.
- The mass result matches Pinealon.
- The amount found in the vial is close to or above its labeled size (10mg).

Sizes and storage of the powder
Pinealon comes as a lyophilized (freeze dried) powder in sealed glass vials in one size: 10mg. Each vial's lot number ties it to the lab report for that lot.
Store sealed vials at minus 20 °C or colder, dry and away from light, and record the lot number with your lab notes.
