Research overview
BPC-157 is a 15-amino-acid peptide investigated in laboratory studies of cell movement, attachment and signaling. Its research literature includes experiments with tendon-derived fibroblast cultures.
About BPC-157
One line of research examines how these cells spread across a surface and move through experimental systems. Published work has measured changes in actin organization and FAK-paxillin signaling, a molecular network associated with cell adhesion. These studies distinguish movement and attachment from simply increasing the number of cells.
Another study examined growth-hormone receptor expression in fibroblast cultures and the downstream JAK2 response when those cells were exposed to growth hormone. This adds receptor expression and stimulus-dependent signaling to the research picture, alongside the earlier work on cell behavior.
The published work looks at BPC-157 at several levels, from the arrangement of a cell’s internal scaffolding to receptor expression and movement across a surface. Those connected observations give the peptide a research profile that includes both cellular structure and signaling, within the specific laboratory models studied.

Quality, Purity and Documentation
Review the analytical documentation listed for the selected size. Reports describe the samples identified in them; they do not by themselves confirm that current stock matches those samples. If no matching report is listed, contact Prestige Peptides for documentation before ordering.
Available sizes
BPC-157 is supplied as a lyophilized (freeze-dried) powder in sealed vials in a 10mg format. Lyophilization removes water under vacuum at low temperature, producing a stable dry preparation suited to controlled laboratory storage and accurate gravimetric preparation of experimental solutions.
Storage and handling
Store lyophilized vials at -20°C or below, protected from light and moisture. Allow sealed vials to equilibrate to room temperature before opening to limit condensation inside the vial. Once opened, handle with clean laboratory technique, minimize exposure to ambient humidity, reseal promptly, and record the lot number in laboratory documentation for traceability.
For qualified in-vitro laboratory research only. Not for human or animal use.
Common questions
How is this material tested?
Reports are linked on each product page where available, per strength. A report describes the sample that was tested, so check its lot against the vial you receive, and contact us if you need documentation for a lot that isn't listed.
Open the report under Lab results above. Your packing slip and order page list the lot that shipped.
How should it be stored?
Use Specifications & documentation above and the lot record. If storage information is marked pending, contact us before beginning laboratory work.
When will my order ship?
In-stock orders are normally processed within 1-2 business days, Monday through Friday, excluding federal holidays. Orders placed before 2:00 PM Central Time may go out the same business day, but that isn't guaranteed. After the carrier accepts it, USPS Standard generally takes 2-3 business days and USPS Express 1-2. Tracking is emailed when it ships. Shipping policy
What if something arrives damaged or wrong?
Contact us as soon as you notice it, and no later than 7 days after delivery, with your order code and clear photos of the item, label and package. Keep everything until we've reviewed it. Refund policy
Who can order BPC-157?
Buyers must be at least 21 and order only for lawful, qualified in-vitro laboratory research. It is not for human or animal use. Support can help with product records, lot documentation, orders and shipping, but can't give dosing, administration or personal-use guidance. All questions
